Charles P. Murray, Jr. was a young commanding officer in the 3rd Infantry Division near Kaysersberg, France. His heroic actions on December 16th, 1944, propelled him into history and the Congressional Medal of Honor, the French Legion of Honor and military and civic awards through his decades of service to country. Colonel Murray’s life was defined by heroism, humility and a sacred obligation to serve his country. “Man and Moment: Charles Murray, Defining a Hero” shares Col.
