| Synopsis: | In American song, on stage and on screen, love seems to conjure up images of everything that is good and right. People say that if everyone loved others as they did themselves, there would be no crime, wars or brutality. Others say that if there were more love within the family, there would be no divorce or delinquency. But is it that simple? Do parents and children have to love one another, and can children love and hate parents at the same time? In this program, Dr. Salk tries to define love through the eyes and experience of three fifth-graders, Zachary, Julie and Dawn. |
