Synopsis:Many of the almost 20,000 "righteous gentiles" honored by Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Israel, for having rescued Jews during the Second World War were Polish. Their efforts are highlighted in this program. Narrated by Eli Wallach, this shortened version of the 1992 program on Zegota includes new archival footage, photos and additional narrations. It is specifically designed for classroom use.
