Oregon Symphony: Korngold's The Sea Hawk & Symphony in F-Sharp
"As an Erich Wolfgang Korngold (EWK) film-score enthusiast, I bought the CD to listen only to the Sea Hawk ""suite""; that the ""Symphony in F-Sharp"" came along with it didn't matter. Boy, did I get a surprise! Would I buy this CD a second time? You bet! In fact, I'd buy two copies, since The Oregon Symphony--like a number of other not-as-well-known, regional orchestras (both in the US and Europe)--has had the creative enlightenment, originality, and flat-out courage to help bring back EWK's music. -- William Flanigan, Jr. "

Oscar Peterson & Benny Green: Oscar & Benny
This is a thoroughly enjoyable CD, pairing the crem de la crem of the jazz piano world. Oscar Peterson's nomination as best percussionist should be considered after hearing this CD. And, Benny Green is the most complete and interesting pianist since Bill Evans. I've never been disappointed by his playing whether in concert or in the studio. When you listen to Oscar and Benny trade fours on "The More I See You" or "Limehouse Blues" and juxtapose their playing, you can obtain a clearer glimpse into each artist's style. A TEN on the groove-o-meter!

Many of the diseases and conditions that strike adult South Carolinians at alarmingly high rates develop over a lifetime, including childhood and adolescence. From inadequate pre-natal care to high-risk adolescent behavior, what are the greatest risks to our children's health? How do habits and attitudes developed during childhood set the stage for a lifetime of good (or poor) health? How do we educate parents and children to reduce their risk from a range of health-related issues? What resources and programs are available to improve the health and well-being of our children?
