Born to the Wind: Around The World Alone, 1998–99
This video, narrated by Peter Fonda, documents the human drama of 16 sailors as they set sail from Charleston, South Carolina. Covering 27,000 miles, they spend eight months at sea battling hurricane-force winds, loneliness, and frustration. Before the winner crossed the finish line, a Russian sailer was forced to perform surgery on himself at sea and a skipper lost her boat after capsizing 1,500 miles west of Cape Horn.

Boston Baroque with Martin Pearlman: Music of the Moravians
Boston Baroque is the oldest continuing period instrument orchestra in North America. With Martin Pearlman directing, this album, with its short compositions and arrangement, is appropriate for the Moravian "Lovefeast", or Liebesmahl, a special kind of sung service still in use today. This includes the singing of hymns, psalms and anthems for Christmas and Lent, and the simple giving of thanks. Also featured are two pieces for trombone choir and a piece for solo pianoforte.
